Thank you so much to Katie, Jackie and all the team who looked after us on our wedding day. The house and barn were stunning! All of the team were spot on with everything whatever we needed they were happy to help and kept us right on where we needed to be and when. We had so many compliments on how beautiful the venue is, how lovely the food was and how well organised everything seemed to be. Our day went so smoothly from start to finish and we couldn’t have asked for anything more perfect on the day and that is definitely with the help of all the Horton Grange team. We wish we could do our wedding day all over again as we had the best day ever! We thought the next morning was such a lovely touch having everyone gather for breakfast and catch up on the day, the house feels so homely it’s an absolute perfect venue especially for a winter/Christmas wedding! The Christmas trees were just wow and definitely put the final touch to our Christmas/winter wedding!

Attended to photograph a wedding. Lovely venue, cosy, good food and lots of photo opportunities inside and out. On the outskirts of Newcastle, about 10mile from the city and Metro Centre. Food was excellent.

Has our wedding here on the 12.11.23 and wow wow wow what an amazing day it was, from planning the wedding with the lovely Katie who was so professional and friendly to Jackie and her lovely team who looked after us and our Guests on the day, outstanding service, outstanding food, our Guests were blown away by the stunning venue surroundings, service and food ,- would definitely recommend this venue to all future couples - you will definitely get a day to remember to cherish forever xxxx❤️❤️👰🤵

We had our wedding here 27.10.2023. We had to change the date of our wedding, and bring it forward 6 months due to my mums ill health, and the staff at Horton Grange, especially Nick, made this such an easy process for us and Katie, our wedding coordinator quickly sprung into action to make our day perfect. We could not fault the venue or the staff at all, our day was absolutely perfect. The food was amazing, the venue gorgeous and the staff couldn’t do enough for us. Special shout out to Jackie and Katie for their attempts to keep me calm and collected before the ceremony. I have heard nothing but compliments about our day and I can honestly say we had the BEST day ever. All dietary requirements catered for, vegan, nut allergy, and gluten free, with no hiccups. I could go on forever about how perfect this venue was. Thank you so much to all the staff at Horton Grange!

Horton Grange were an absolute dream come true! Honestly can’t thank all of the staff enough for making our wedding day so incredible. Nick, Katie, Jackie and all of the staff were fantastic from start to finish. They are all so attentive, friendly and make you feel at ease. Nick initially showed us around the venue, you could tell straight away how much work he puts into his job and how he always wants to improve Horton Grange. He is a brilliant manager. Katie carried out all of our meetings and was there on the day of the wedding, she was always so friendly and quick to respond to my 1000 questions (sorry Katie!). She was fab, she made sure everything was in order for our day. We first met Jackie on the wedding day, she made sure everything ran perfectly from start to finish. She was fantastic! We had the most beautiful wedding day, the venue looked gorgeous and everything exceeded our expectations. We love how private the venue is, it’s perfect if you want an intimate day. We opted for the new barn and it was absolutely stunning! The food was out of this world, WOW! All of our guests commented on how much they enjoyed their meal. Compliments to the chef! We couldn’t recommend this wedding venue enough, there’s not a single thing we would have changed! Thank you so much to everyone at Horton x

We had our wedding at Horton Grange on 21st July 2023. From the moment we viewed Horton Grange back in January 2022 we fell in love with the place, it’s intimate feel and characteristic charm, accompanied by beautiful grounds, immediately won us over and we instantly knew it was the venue for us. The entire process of planning with them was amazing and completely stress free. Katie was always so lovely and happy to help with whatever we needed, and made the organising feel like a breeze. We didn’t think it could get anymore perfect but by gosh it did on the day. The staff were all absolutely incredible, they took care of everything and the day ran more smoothly than we could have ever hoped. Jackie is the most amazing organiser, getting everyone where they needed to be at the right time whilst always remaining warm and friendly, as were the rest of the staff. Jackie even opened up their brand new barn space for us when it started to rain so that we had extra space for gorgeous photos. Throughout the day there were so many little touches that made everything even more special, getting ready in the beautiful bridal suite, drinks waiting for myself and my husband after the ceremony where Jackie made sure we had a moment together to take everything in before continuing with the day, and the staff even making sure there was a plate of the evening food waiting for us both in the bridal suite at the end of the night as they knew we hadn’t had the chance to get some during the reception. We really can’t recommend Horton Grange and the amazing staff enough, the most beautiful venue and people, who made our day even more wonderful and perfect than we ever could have imagined. As a wedding photographer I get to visit a lot of Northumberland’s wedding venues. I shot my first Horton Grange wedding in June and was so impressed! There are so many possibilities for ceremony spaces, including the incredible new barn (opened the week after I worked here!) making it ideal for weddings of any size. The gardens are well maintained and offered lots of variety for photos. Inside, the rooms seemed to have been recently decorated, they are fresh and modern but also in keeping with the age of the building. Maybe most importantly, the staff went above and beyond making sure my couple had everything they needed. Great venue!

We loved our wedding here. We didn't want anything traditional, we wanted money on the bar instead of a drinks package and they accommodated this with ease. We didn't want a sit down 3 course meal, so we opted for the American buffet, and honestly it was some of the best food I've tasted. We got married in December and the Christmas decorations were just so lovely. Our ceremony was at 4pm and went straight to party after and the rooms were moved about so quickly no one was sat around bored for long periods. Everything ran smoothly and they replied to emails usually within 10 minutes. The price was so so good for this venue, it was the first place we viewed and we booked a date there and then. Someone even heated up our babies milk bottle at 3am for us. I'd recommend this venue for more intimate weddings, we only had 40 guests and it didn't feel empty but it could fit more

We got married at Horton Grange on 2nd July 2022 and honesty couldn't recommend it enough, we had the most perfect day. Katie the wedding co-ordinator was fantastic to deal with in the lead-up. She was quick to respond, so lovely and had an answer to all my questions and never made me feel like I was a bother! On the actual wedding the day, the staff were absolutely FANTASTIC. They kept bringing water up for my and my bridesmaids when we were getting ready, I was running late and panicking and they were keeping me calm. They even spotted that my husband and I hadn't eaten on the evening and kept food to the side for us! Everything ran so smoothly and we couldn't fault them. It was amazing having the venue entirely to yourself, especially as we had a lovely sunny day so all the doors were open and many people commented that they loved that the children could go and play and they didn't need to worry about them and that it was nice not having any strangers lurking around like at some other venues! The food was UNREAL. The chef catered to all allergens with no problems, even me as a Coeliac had the same food as everyone else and was well looked after. We had loads of compliments on the quality and great portions sizes of the wedding breakfast. The venue was just so stunning, it had such a lovely chilled out vibe and just worked so perfectly for what we needed it for. We couldn't have asked for any more and it was such a great price compared to other wedding venues we looked at. I'd highly recommend getting married here.
